We treat every cell as a resource. Restoring, reusing and finally recycling batteries keeps lead and other materials in productive loops and lowers demand for virgin extraction.

We operate a closed-loop model: collect, diagnose, restore, redeploy, and — only at true end of life — recycle. Each step is engineered to retain maximum value and minimum waste. Lead-acid is already among the most recycled consumer products in the world, with recovery rates above 95%; our contribution is to delay that end point by years.
Restoration
Cell-level diagnostics and electrochemical reconditioning extend useful life by up to 4×, deferring the carbon and capital cost of new manufacturing.
Reuse
Batteries that no longer meet automotive or telecom thresholds find purposeful second lives in stationary storage, micro-grids and CSR deployments.
Recycling
At true end of life, batteries go to licensed recyclers who recover lead, polypropylene casing and sulphuric acid for re-entry into new battery manufacturing.

Every restored battery avoids the embedded emissions of a new one. We quantify and report our Scope 1, 2 and 3 footprint, and publish the methodology behind the avoided-emissions figure.

Scope 1 & 2
Direct emissions from our facilities and purchased energy are tracked monthly. Service centres are transitioning to renewable power by 2027, with on-site solar where viable.
Scope 3 & Avoided Emissions
We quantify upstream, downstream and avoided emissions using cradle-to-grave life-cycle assessment, so the avoided-CO₂ claim can be checked rather than taken on trust.
Offsets
We prioritise absolute reduction over offsetting. Where credits are used, we restrict them to removal-based projects with permanence guarantees.
Skilled green-economy jobs, on the ground.
Our operations have created over 1,200 direct jobs in technician training, field engineering, logistics and recycling — with a deliberate focus on regional youth and women in STEM.

A multi-year pathway taking school leavers from apprentice technician to certified engineer, with employment offered on completion.
Refurbishment is regulated. We operate accordingly.
India's Battery Waste Management Rules 2022 place refurbishers under direct regulation, requiring registration with the Central Pollution Control Board. We hold ourselves to that bar and to equivalent standards in every market we serve.

Compliance isn't a cost centre — it's the floor under everything else we promise. Our integrated management system unifies quality, environment and safety controls under a single audit trail. For partners this is commercial as well as legal: a registered, certified operation can bid for enterprise and government contracts that an informal workshop cannot.

How is avoided CO2 calculated?
Avoided emissions are calculated using cradle-to-grave life-cycle assessment, comparing the embedded emissions of manufacturing a replacement battery against the emissions of restoring an existing one. The methodology is published alongside the headline figure in the annual ESG report so the number can be checked rather than taken on trust.
What happens to a battery at true end of life?
When a battery can no longer be restored, it goes to a licensed recycler. Lead-acid recycling recovers the lead, the polypropylene casing and the sulphuric acid electrolyte, all of which re-enter new battery manufacturing. Lead-acid is among the most recycled consumer products in the world, with recovery rates above 95%.
Is battery refurbishment regulated in India?
Yes. The Battery Waste Management Rules 2022, notified by the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change on 22 August 2022, apply directly to entities refurbishing used batteries. Refurbishers must register with the Central Pollution Control Board, and operating without registration can attract environmental compensation under the polluter pays principle.
