Negative impact on battery health
Elixir and the X Power Regenerator solve different halves of the same problem.
Used together, Elixir and the X Power Regenerator restore active surface area and recover capacity in tired lead-acid batteries — without compromising battery health.
The machine performs the desulphation: pulses break down the hardened lead sulphate that has bonded to the plates. The additive works on the electrolyte side, supporting its ability to carry charge once that active surface area is available again. Neither addresses the other's part, which is why the two are specified as a pair rather than as alternatives.
This is also the honest answer to a question customers ask about additives generally. A bottle poured into a neglected battery is not a repair. Elixir is a component of a controlled reconditioning process that begins with a diagnostic and ends with a verified capacity test.
Six characteristics that matter in the field.
Universally compatible
Works with all types of lead-acid battery — flooded, VRLA, AGM and gel — across brands and chemistries.
Engineered for both formats
Designed for 12-volt lead-acid batteries and 2-volt cell banks, covering automotive, UPS, telecom and industrial estates.
Capacity & performance uplift
Combined with the X Power Regenerator, Elixir contributes to measurable gains in capacity and delivered performance.
Domestic & industrial
Suitable for both domestic and industrial applications, from small backup units to mission-critical banks.
Battery-safe chemistry
No negative impact on lead-acid battery health. A restorative additive, not a stress test.

- FAQs
Elixir — frequently asked questions.
What is Elixir battery additive?
Elixir is a formulated additive applied during battery reconditioning. It integrates into the existing electrolyte chemistry and, used alongside the X Power Regenerator, helps recover capacity and delivered performance in tired lead-acid batteries.
Which batteries is Elixir compatible with?
All lead-acid chemistries — flooded, VRLA, AGM and gel — across brands. It is engineered for both 12-volt batteries and 2-volt cell banks, covering automotive, UPS, telecom, solar and industrial applications, in domestic and industrial settings alike.
Does Elixir damage the battery?
No. It is formulated to have no negative effect on lead-acid battery health. It is a restorative additive rather than an aggressive chemical treatment, and it integrates into the existing electrolyte rather than replacing it.
Can Elixir be used on its own?
It is designed to be used with the X Power Regenerator rather than alone. The additive supports the electrolyte's ability to carry charge after desulphation; the machine performs the desulphation. Used together they address different parts of the same failure mode.
What is the difference between Elixir and battery water?
Topping up with distilled water replaces electrolyte lost to evaporation and does nothing about sulphation. Elixir is a formulated additive applied as part of a reconditioning process aimed at recovering capacity that sulphation has taken away. They solve different problems.
