Open a ReStore+ store.
A turnkey franchise model that brings the ReStore retail experience — restored batteries, solar and inverters — to your city. Technicians are trained and certified before opening day, and inventory is replenished from regional hubs.
Operating across India and the UAE since 2014 — now expanding across Africa: Nigeria, Kenya, Ghana and Ethiopia. Through 2026 our priority markets are Nigeria, Kenya, Ghana and Ethiopia.
Now open in Africa — visit our Lagos outlet and watch a battery come back to life.
Our first African outlet is trading in Lagos, Nigeria. If you are considering a ReStore outlet in your own city, the fastest way to understand the model is to see one running.
Prospective partners are welcome to visit in person, or to book a live video demonstration from the Lagos workshop — a full diagnostic and restoration, start to finish, on a real battery.

A proven retail playbook, opening-day-ready.
Everything needed to open and run a ReStore+ store is supplied as a package. You bring the premises, the local entity and the commitment.
Store design & fit-out
Store design, branding, fit-out drawings and point-of-sale systems — supplied opening-day-ready so the outlet looks and operates like every other ReStore+ store.
Certified training
Your team is trained and certified at our technical team — hands-on and online programmes before day one. No prior battery industry experience is required to apply.
Central inventory
Restored batteries, solar equipment, inverters and Elixir additive, replenished from regional hubs so stock arrives without you managing import logistics.
Marketing & CRM support
National brand campaigns, local lead funnels and CRM playbooks included, so demand generation does not start from zero on opening day.
Requirements to become a franchisee.
- Owner-operator involvement in running the outlet
- Clean compliance record and the ability to register a local entity
- Investment details are shared personally during your consultation with our team
The local entity requirement is not bureaucracy for its own sake. Battery refurbishment is a regulated activity in most of our markets — in India under the Battery Waste Management Rules 2022 — and a properly registered outlet can bid for enterprise and government contracts that an informal workshop cannot.
Now recruiting across Africa.
Unreliable grid supply makes stored energy essential rather than optional across much of the continent, and a restored battery costs a fraction of a new one. Partner training is delivered by our technical team — hands-on and online programmes.
Nigeria
Heavy reliance on inverters and backup storage in homes and small businesses makes battery service demand consistent year-round.
Ghana
Growing solar adoption and a strong SME retail culture suit the ReStore+ store format well.
Kenya
Strong demand for reliable backup storage, and a partner network actively being built through 2026.
Ethiopia
Rapid electrification alongside grid instability creates sustained demand for reliable, affordable stored energy.
- FAQs
Franchise — frequently asked questions.
How much does a ReStore franchise cost?
Investment details are shared personally during your consultation with our team, because the figure varies with local property costs, import duties and store size. The package covers store design, fit-out, opening inventory, equipment and technician training.
What do I get for the franchise fee?
Store design, branding, fit-out drawings and POS systems; certified technician training at our technical team — hands-on and online programmes before opening day; central inventory of restored batteries, solar equipment, inverters and Elixir additive replenished from regional hubs; and national brand campaigns with local lead funnels and CRM playbooks.
Which countries is ReStore Life recruiting franchisees in?
Partner onboarding is currently active across India, the UAE and East Africa. Through 2026 the priority markets are Nigeria, Ghana, Kenya and Ethiopia.
What are the requirements to become a ReStore franchisee?
Owner-operator involvement in running the outlet, a clean compliance record, and the ability to register a local legal entity. Prior battery industry experience is helpful but not required, as technical training is provided. Investment details are shared personally during your consultation.
Do I need technical battery experience?
No. Technicians are trained and certified at a ReStore Life academy in our technical team before the store opens. What matters more is owner-operator commitment, local market knowledge and the ability to run a retail operation.
How long does the application process take?
The partnerships team responds to enquiries within three business days. Onboarding cohorts run quarterly, so the time from enquiry to opening depends on which cohort you join and how quickly local entity registration and premises are secured.
