Response on your certification slot

- What you get

Certification, dispatch, support and bonuses.

The model is straightforward: we hold national AMC and warranty contracts, and that work has to be performed locally. You perform it.

/01

Certification

A free two-week certification programme at our regional academy — your engineers, trained to our standards and procedures.

/02

Job dispatch

Pre-paid AMC and warranty job tickets routed to your team through the partner app. Work arrives funded rather than invoiced afterwards.

/03

L2 support

A direct line to senior ReStore Life engineers for complex diagnostics in the field, for the cases the obvious answer does not fit.

/04

Quality SLAs

Transparent quality scores and SLA-linked bonuses, paid monthly on top of ticket value.

Pre-paid tickets are the part worth understanding. In most subcontracted field service the partner does the work, invoices, and waits. Here the ticket is funded before it is dispatched, which removes the working-capital gap that makes service subcontracting hard for small firms to scale.

- What we look for

Requirements to become a service partner.

  • A registered service company with at least two qualified electricians or technicians
  • A service vehicle and basic diagnostic toolkit — we supplement with calibrated kit
  • Coverage of a defined service zone, at city or sub-region level
  • A clean safety record and willingness to follow our SOPs and uniform standards

The safety record requirement is not box-ticking. Lead exposure is the defining occupational risk in battery work, and a partner operating below standard creates liability that reaches back through the whole chain. Our labour and human rights framework extends to contractors for exactly this reason.

Service provision has the lowest barrier of the three. If you already run an electrical or battery service business, certification adds a revenue line without capital expenditure — which is why most partners start here.

- FAQs

Service partnership — frequently asked questions.

What is a ReStore Life certified service provider?

A registered service company whose engineers are certified to ReStore Life standards and who receives pre-paid AMC and warranty job tickets routed through the partner app. Rather than finding your own customers, work is dispatched from national contract volume.

How much does certification cost?

Certification is free. It runs as a two-week programme at a regional academy in our technical team, and covers your engineers working to ReStore Life standards and procedures.

How do service providers get paid?

Job tickets are pre-paid, so the work is funded before it is dispatched rather than invoiced afterwards. Quality scores are transparent, and SLA-linked bonuses are paid monthly on top of ticket value.

What are the requirements to become a service provider?

Four: a registered service company with at least two qualified electricians or technicians; a service vehicle and basic diagnostic toolkit, which ReStore Life supplements with calibrated equipment; coverage of a defined service zone at city or sub-region level; and a clean safety record with willingness to follow ReStore Life SOPs and uniform standards.

Do I need my own diagnostic equipment?

A basic toolkit and a service vehicle are expected. ReStore Life supplements this with calibrated equipment, because consistent measurement across the network is what makes quality scores comparable between partners.

What support is available for difficult diagnostics?

Certified partners have a direct line to senior ReStore Life engineers for complex field diagnostics. This is second-line support, intended for the cases where a battery's behaviour does not match the obvious diagnosis.

How is this different from becoming a franchisee?

A service provider services work dispatched to them and needs technicians and a vehicle. A franchisee runs a retail outlet selling restored batteries, solar and inverters to end customers. Service provision has the lowest entry requirement of the three partnership routes.
